UK Private Business Awards

The Issue: PwC needed to change the perception that they didn’t just work with FTSE100 companies in the UK and not Private Businesses, which make up 25% of their revenue.

The Solution: As part of their business strategy, Emma managed the sponsorship of the UK Private Business Awards from their inception.

Above and Beyond: In addition to normal sponsorship activities, she : Cultivated a vast network of contacts including C-Level executives, entrepreneurial business leaders and politicians to identify new nominees as well as joining the judging panel for the review and selection of winners from shortlisted companies. Formulated strong working relationships with external partners including PR agencies, video and production teams, venues and other core vendors to drive campaign visibility and awareness ahead of each show including budgetary accountability. Managed a year long programme of events and campaigns. Created innovative advertising and PR campaigns with a specific focus on brand recognition via digital channels.

The Successful Conclusion: The UK Private Business Awards were attended by 450 business leaders, entrepreneurs, family businesses and fast growth companies, growing each year until they ended when she left PwC.
